Why CGI works especially well for fashion and footwear
Footwear is one of the most technically demanding products to photograph well. The textures of the outsole, the laces, the upper materials, the stitching, the gloss or matte finishes — every detail requires specific photographic attention that, in practice, means significant studio time and post-production.
CGI inverts this problem. Each material is defined once and reproduced with total fidelity at any angle, with any lighting and in any environment. The result is consistent, controllable and reusable across every piece of the campaign.
"Fashion and footwear brands that work with CGI do not do it to save on the shoot. They do it because the result is better and the process is more efficient."
What CGI can do for fashion and footwear
High-precision product renders
Photorealistic images of sneakers, boots, bags and accessories with total control over lighting, angle and environment. Perfect for e-commerce, lookbooks and campaign materials. Every stitch, every texture and every material is recreated with absolute fidelity.
Multiple colourways from a single model
For brands launching the same model in 8, 10 or 15 colourways, CGI is the most efficient solution. A single 3D model generates every colour, material and finish variant — without photographing each pair separately.
CGI animation and product video
Audiovisual pieces for collection launches, product reels and seasonal campaigns. From a simple shoe rotation to a complex animation showing the internal construction or materials of the product.
Content before the physical product exists
For collection launches, CGI allows all visual content to be ready before the product arrives from the manufacturer. Pre-sale campaigns and digital lookbooks can be prepared months in advance.
Impossible environments and scenes
Placing the sneaker in an abstract environment, in a high-impact campaign scene or in a context that reinforces the brand's positioning — without the limitations of a physical set and without the production costs that would entail.

Get in touchSportswear, luxury and technical footwear
We work with fashion and footwear brands across different segments, each with their own visual requirements:
Sportswear and sneakers
The sneaker market is one of the earliest and most consistent adopters of CGI. The need to present multiple colourways, materials and special collaborations — often before the product is available — makes CGI the natural tool for this segment. Brands like Nike, Adidas, New Balance and all the major players in the sector produce the majority of their digital content with CGI.
Luxury footwear
In luxury, CGI allows craftsmanship and premium materials to be recreated at a level of detail that conventional photography rarely matches. Leather, suede, metals on buckles, lacquered finishes — each material is defined with its exact optical properties and presented in the perfect light.
Technical and performance footwear
For brands with technical products — running shoes, mountain boots, performance footwear — CGI allows the internal technology, construction layers and technical features to be shown in a visual and comprehensible way. Animations showing cushioning, the outsole or waterproofing are impossible to produce with conventional photography.

View portfolioThe CGI production process for footwear
Producing CGI for footwear requires a high level of technical detail. The standard process follows these phases:
Modelling from technical files
We work from the manufacturer's 3D files or design patterns. If no files are available, we model from high-resolution photographic references. The goal is for the digital model to be indistinguishable from the physical product.
Materials and finishes
Each material in the shoe — mesh, leather, rubber, fabric, metal — is recreated with its specific optical properties. This process has the greatest impact on the realism of the final result.
Lighting and composition
Lighting defines the character of the image. A sneaker under clean studio light communicates one thing; the same model with dramatic lighting or in a campaign environment communicates another. We develop the lighting direction based on the brand's positioning and the target channel.
Multi-channel delivery
We deliver in all required formats: high-resolution images for print and e-commerce, videos adapted for social media, broadcast formats and materials for internal presentations.
